Bus
Start from the center of Mafraq, near the Mafraq Bus Station. Take a local bus heading towards Jerash. The journey should take about 30-40 minutes. Inform the driver that you would like to get off at the Jerash stop. Once you arrive at Jerash, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes to reach the Temple of Zeus. Head east on the main road from the bus stop, then turn right at the first intersection. Continue straight until you see the entrance to the archaeological site on your left.
Taxi
From any location in Mafraq, you can hire a taxi to Jerash. Taxis are available throughout the city, and you can also request one from your hotel or accommodation. The trip will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to tell the driver that you want to go to the Temple of Zeus in Jerash. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a short distance to find the entrance to the archaeological site.
Walking
If you prefer to walk and are staying close to the outskirts of Mafraq, you can take the main road leading to Jerash. It's about a 20 km walk, which would take several hours. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated. Follow the signs towards Jerash, and be cautious of traffic. Once you reach Jerash, follow the signs to the Temple of Zeus, which is well marked within the archaeological site.
