Getting There

  • Car

    From Ras Al Naqb, get onto the Desert Highway (Route 15) heading south. Continue on this highway for approximately 70 km until you reach the town of Rum. Look for the signs pointing to Wadi Rum, and take the exit towards Wadi Rum Protected Area. Follow the road for about 15 km until you reach the entrance of Wadi Rum. Note that there is an entrance fee of approximately 5 JOD per person.

  • Public Transportation

    From Ras Al Naqb, you can take a bus or shared taxi heading south towards Aqaba. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the turn-off for Wadi Rum. Once you are dropped off, you can catch a local taxi to take you the remaining 15 km to the entrance of Wadi Rum Protected Area. The taxi fare should be around 10 JOD. Remember to confirm the price before the ride.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct option, you can hire a taxi from Ras Al Naqb to Wadi Rum. This can be arranged through your hotel or local taxi services. The cost is generally around 40-50 JOD for a one-way trip, and the journey takes about 1.5 hours. Ensure you agree on the fare beforehand.
