Bus
From the center of Salt, head to the Salt Bus Station located on Al-Maqdisi Street. Look for the buses heading to Jerash. The bus ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Jerash bus station, follow the signs to the archaeological site, which is about a 15-minute walk from the station.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Salt to Jerash. You can find taxis near the Salt Bus Station or ask your hotel to arrange one for you. The journey takes around 30 minutes, and it's advisable to negotiate the fare before starting the trip.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and want to explore the local area, you can walk to the Jerash bus station first, which is about 1.5 km from the center of Salt. Once at the bus station, follow the bus instructions above. Note that walking to Jerash directly is not recommended due to the distance and lack of pedestrian paths.
