Getting There

Car
From Shobak Castle, exit the castle grounds and head south on the road towards Nejel. Continue driving for approximately 5 kilometers. You will pass through some rural areas with stunning views. As you approach Nejel, look for signs indicating 'مطل الجهيره' (Matal al-Jahira) on your right. Turn onto this road and continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach the viewpoint. Parking is available near the viewpoint, but be mindful of any local parking regulations.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, start by taking a local bus or taxi from Shobak Castle to the nearest town, which is Shobak. From Shobak, you can catch a taxi that goes towards Nejel. Inform the driver that you want to go to 'مطل الجهيره' (Matal al-Jahira). The taxi ride will take about 20-30 minutes and should cost around 5-10 Jordanian Dinars. Be sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey. Once you arrive, the viewpoint is a short walk from where the taxi drops you off.
