Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Tafilah, head southeast towards Al-Manshiyah Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with King Abdullah II Street. Turn left onto King Abdullah II Street and follow it for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several local shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for local signs pointing towards Ar-Rishah, as you need to head in that direction. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will reach the outskirts of Tafilah. Here, you can either continue walking straight or find a local guide who can help you navigate the remaining distance to Roberts Rock.

• Hiking

  If you are feeling adventurous, you can take a hiking route from Tafilah towards Roberts Rock. Start at the Tafilah Municipal Park and head north into the hills. Look for trails that lead towards Ar-Rishah. The hike is approximately 4-5 kilometers and will take you through beautiful landscapes and local wildlife. Ensure you have proper hiking gear and plenty of water, as the terrain can be challenging at times. Follow the signs or ask locals for guidance along the way.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Tafilah and head towards Ar-Rishah. Start from the city center and follow Al-Manshiyah Street until you reach King Abdullah II Street. Cycle along this road for about 1 kilometer, then look for signs directing you towards Ar-Rishah. The route is relatively flat and offers a scenic view of the surrounding hills. It is advisable to cycle early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the heat.
