  • Walking

    From the center of Umm Qais, head east towards the main road (Road 35). Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection. Turn left onto Road 35 and continue walking for approximately 3 kilometers. Keep an eye out for local signs indicating the direction to Jerash. As you approach, you'll see signs directing you towards the Jerash archaeological site. The site will be on your right.

    Locate the nearest bus stop in Umm Qais. Buses to Jerash typically depart from the main bus terminal. Board a bus heading to Jerash, which will take about 30 to 40 minutes depending on traffic. Ask the bus driver to let you know when you reach Jerash. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the Jerash archaeological site, which is within walking distance from the bus stop.
