Walking
From the center of Umm Qais, head east towards the main road. After about 200 meters, you will reach the junction. Turn left onto the main road that leads to Jerash. Continue straight for approximately 6 kilometers until you reach the sign for Jerash Ancient City Ruins. The entrance is located on your right, just past the town of Jerash.
Public Bus
Make your way to the local bus station in Umm Qais. Look for a bus heading towards Jerash. The fare is usually inexpensive; confirm with the driver. It should take around 30 minutes to reach Jerash. Once you arrive, disembark at the Jerash bus station and follow the signs towards the Ancient City Ruins, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus station.
Taxi or Ride-Sharing
Find a local taxi stand in Umm Qais or use a ride-sharing app if available. Inform the driver that you want to go to Jerash Ancient City Ruins. The drive should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Ensure to ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of the ruins.
