Walking
Start from the Umm Qais Archaeological Park, located in the center of Umm Qais. Exit the park and head south on the main road, which is called Al-Ma'een Street. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction. At the junction, turn left onto a smaller road leading towards Safed. Follow the signs for Safed, and after approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will start to see the outskirts of Safed. Once in Safed, follow the road signs to the Old City, which is located in the heart of Safed. The Old City is a short walk from the main entrance.
Public Transportation
From Umm Qais, walk to the nearest bus stop located near the Umm Qais Archaeological Park. Take a bus heading towards Tiberias (check local schedules as they may vary). After about 20-30 minutes of travel, you will reach the Tiberias bus terminal. From there, transfer to a local bus that goes directly to Safed. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Safed, follow the signs to the Old City, which is within walking distance from the bus stop.
