    Car

    If you are driving from Wadi Araba, start by heading north on the Desert Highway (Route 15). After about 25 kilometers, you will see signs for Wadi Rum. Take the exit towards Wadi Rum and follow the road for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the entrance to the Wadi Rum Protected Area. There is an entrance fee of 5 JOD per person, and if you are bringing a vehicle, there is an additional fee of 7 JOD for entry.

    Bus

    For those using public transportation, take a bus from Aqaba to Wadi Rum village. Buses leave regularly from Aqaba’s central bus station and the journey takes about 1 hour and costs roughly 3 JOD. Once you arrive in Wadi Rum village, you can either hire a local taxi (approximately 10 JOD) to take you to the Wadi Rum Protected Area entrance or you can join a local tour that includes transportation.
