If you're traveling by car from Wadi Hidan, first head south on Wadi Hidan Road (also known as Wadi Hidan Street) until you reach the junction with Route 15. Turn left onto Route 15 and continue driving for about 30 minutes. Look for signs indicating the turnoff for Wadi Rum. Take the exit toward Wadi Rum and continue on this road until you reach the entrance of Wadi Rum Village. Once you arrive in Wadi Rum Village, follow the signs to Abu Khashaba Canyon. The canyon is located at the coordinates 29.4934697, 35.4703985, approximately 15 minutes from the village center. Parking is available near the entrance to the canyon.

Public Transportation
To reach Abu Khashaba Canyon via public transportation, take a bus or shared taxi from Wadi Hidan to Wadi Rum Village. Buses typically depart from designated bus stops in Wadi Hidan, and the fare is around 5 JOD. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Wadi Rum Village, you can either walk to the canyon (about a 1.5-hour hike) or hire a local guide or taxi for around 10-15 JOD to take you directly to the canyon entrance. Be sure to negotiate the fare beforehand.

If you're already in Wadi Rum Village and prefer to walk to Abu Khashaba Canyon, start from the village center and head southeast toward the canyon. The walk is about 5 km and will take roughly 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow the dirt paths that lead through the scenic desert landscape, making sure to keep an eye out for signs or local guides if you need assistance navigating.
