If you are traveling by car, head towards Wamego, KS. The OZ Museum is located at 511 Road to Oz Highway, Wamego, KS 66547. From I-70, take exit 328 and head south on Highway 99 towards Wamego. Continue on Highway 99 for about 10 miles until you reach Wamego. Once in Wamego, follow the signs for the OZ Museum. The museum is on your left at the intersection of Road to Oz Highway and 5th Street. There is free parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, your best option is to take a Greyhound bus to Topeka, KS. From Topeka, you can catch the local transit bus to Wamego, which is about 20 miles away. Upon arriving in Wamego, you can either take a taxi or use a rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to get to the OZ Museum at 511 Road to Oz Highway. Be aware that public transportation schedules may vary, so check the latest schedules in advance.
Walking
If you happen to be staying in Wamego, you can walk to the OZ Museum from downtown. The distance is about 1 mile. Start by heading south on 4th Street towards the intersection with Road to Oz Highway. Turn left onto Road to Oz Highway and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. The museum will be on your right. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated, especially on warm days.
