If you are starting from downtown Emporia, begin at the intersection of 6th Avenue and Commercial Street. Head south on Commercial Street until you reach 12th Avenue. Turn right (west) on 12th Avenue and continue walking until you reach South Congress Street. Turn left (south) onto South Congress Street. Peter Pan Park will be on your right at the intersection of South Congress and Aspen Drive. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles and should take about 30 minutes.
Bicycling
From the Emporia Public Library located at 110 E 6th Ave, head south on Commercial Street. After about 1 mile, turn right onto 12th Avenue. Continue for a few blocks, then turn left onto South Congress Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Aspen Drive. Peter Pan Park will be on your right. The entire ride is about 2 miles and should take roughly 10-15 minutes.
Public Transit
To reach Peter Pan Park using public transit, start at the nearest bus stop located at 6th Avenue and Commercial Street. Take the bus route that goes towards the Emporia State University area. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection of 12th Avenue and South Congress Street. From there, walk south on South Congress Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the park on your right at the intersection with Aspen Drive. Be sure to check the local bus schedule for the latest timing.
