Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car within the Glaciated Region, head towards Salina, Kansas. From the center of Salina, take I-135 N for approximately 2 miles. Take exit 92A to merge onto US-40 E toward Abilene. Continue on US-40 E for about 1.5 miles, then turn left onto N Hedville Rd. Rolling Hills Zoo will be on your right at 625 N Hedville Rd, Salina, KS 67401. Parking is available on-site and is typically free.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus or a local transit service to Salina. Once you arrive in Salina, you will need to use a taxi or rideshare service to reach Rolling Hills Zoo, as there are no direct public transit routes to the zoo. Expect taxi fares to be around $10 to $15 from the bus station to the zoo.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can bike to Rolling Hills Zoo from Salina. Start on S 9th St heading north, then take a left onto E Crawford St. Continue on E Crawford St until you reach N Hedville Rd.   If you're staying nearby and wish to walk to Rolling Hills Zoo, ensure you are in the vicinity of N Hedville Rd. The zoo is accessible via sidewalks.
