Turn left (south) on Massachusetts Street and continue for several blocks until you reach 15th Street. Turn right (west) onto 15th Street. Continue straight until you reach Wakarusa Drive, then turn left (south) on Wakarusa Drive. After about a mile, turn right (west) on 27th Street. The Pat Dawson Billings Nature Area will be on your right at 3951 W 27th St. The entrance is marked, and you can enter the park for a peaceful nature experience.

For a biking route from downtown Lawrence, start at the Lawrence Loop bike path near the intersection of 9th Street and Massachusetts Street.
