Continue straight until you reach Wakarusa Drive, then turn left (south) on Wakarusa Drive. After about a mile, turn right (west) on 27th Street. The Pat Dawson Billings Nature Area will be on your right at 3951 W 27th St. The entrance is marked, and you can enter the park for a peaceful nature experience.

    For a biking route from downtown Lawrence, start at the Lawrence Loop bike path near the intersection of 9th Street and Massachusetts Street.
