Walking
If you are starting from the Lawrence Public Library, head east on 7th Street towards Massachusetts Street. Turn left on Massachusetts Street and walk north for about 10 minutes. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 11th Street. At this point, you will find Post Office Square on your right. The square is easily recognizable and is a lovely urban park.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From the Kansas Union, walk to the nearest bus stop at the intersection of 14th St and Jayhawk Blvd. Take the Lawrence Transit bus route 1 towards the Downtown area. Ride for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the stop near 9th and Massachusetts. From there, walk north on Massachusetts Street for about 5 minutes until you reach Post Office Square.
Biking
If you are renting a bike, start at the Lawrence Loop, which is a bike path that encircles the city. Head towards downtown on the path and follow the signs directing you towards Massachusetts Street. Once you reach Massachusetts Street, turn left and continue biking north for a short distance until you see Post Office Square on your right.
