Getting There

Walking
Start at the Manhattan Town Center, located at 100 Manhattan Town Center, Manhattan, KS 66502. Exit the Town Center and head south on N 3rd St towards Poyntz Ave. Continue walking straight for about three blocks until you reach the intersection with Poyntz Ave. Turn left onto Poyntz Ave and walk east for approximately half a mile. As you walk, you will pass several shops and restaurants. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with KS-18 (also known as Fort Riley Blvd). Cross over to the other side of the road. Griffith Park will be on your right-hand side, just a short walk down KS-18. The park entrance is easily identifiable with park signage.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Manhattan Town Center and head south on N 3rd St towards Poyntz Ave. Turn left onto Poyntz Ave and continue heading east for about half a mile. Once you reach KS-18, carefully cross over to the other side and continue biking south along the designated bike lanes on KS-18. Griffith Park will be on your right-hand side, just a short distance down the road.

From the Manhattan Town Center, you can take the local bus service. Check the bus schedule for routes that stop near KS-18. Generally, you would take the bus heading towards the Fort Riley area. Once you reach the nearest bus stop to Griffith Park on KS-18, disembark and walk a short distance south to the park entrance, which will be on your right-hand side.
