Walking
If you are in the downtown area of Manhattan, start at the intersection of 4th Street and Poyntz Avenue. Head east on Poyntz Avenue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 3rd Street. Continue straight as Poyntz Avenue becomes Laramie Street. After walking for another 0.2 miles, you will reach the entrance to Manhattan City Park on your right.

If you have a bicycle, start from the Kansas State University campus. Exit the campus at the intersection of Anderson Avenue and 17th Street. Head south on Anderson Avenue for about 0.8 miles. Turn left onto Poyntz Avenue and continue for 0.3 miles. Turn right onto Laramie Street, and you will find the entrance to Manhattan City Park just a short distance ahead.
