If you are starting from downtown Manhattan, head east on Poyntz Avenue. Continue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 4th Street. Turn left onto 4th Street and walk north for about 0.3 miles. You will pass by several shops and restaurants. When you reach the intersection with Oak Street, turn right. Sunset Zoo will be on your left at 2333 Oak St, Manhattan, KS 66502.

From the Aggieville area, walk to the nearest bus stop on the corner of Anderson Avenue and 11th Street. Take the Riley County Public Transit bus number 3 on a route towards North Manhattan. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the stop near the intersection of Oak Street and 24th Street. From there, it’s a short 0.2-mile walk south on Oak Street to reach Sunset Zoo at 2333 Oak St.

If you have access to a bike, you can take the bike lanes along Poyntz Avenue starting from downtown Manhattan. Head east and then make a left onto 4th Street. Continue north until you reach Oak Street, then turn right. Sunset Zoo will be located on your left side at 2333 Oak St. The total distance is about 1.2 miles and should take around 10 minutes.
