If you are traveling by car from Marais des Cygnes, start by heading south on US-169 S. Continue on US-169 S for approximately 29 miles until you reach the exit for I-70 W. Follow Huebner Rd for about 1 mile, and you will arrive at the First Territorial Capitol State Historic Site located at 693 Huebner Rd, Fort Riley, KS 66442. There is no parking fee at the site.
