Car
From Smoky Hills, take US-54 E towards Fort Scott. Continue on US-54 E for approximately 60 miles. As you approach Fort Scott, take the exit toward KS-7 N. Merge onto KS-7 N, then take the exit for US-69 N. Continue on US-69 N for about 4 miles. Take the exit for Fort Scott, merge onto 23rd St, and follow it until it becomes Old Fort Blvd. Continue on Old Fort Blvd, and you will find Fort Scott National Historic Site at 199 Old Fort Blvd. There is free parking available on-site.
