If you are traveling by car from central Marais des Cygnes, head southeast on Main Street towards E 1st Street. Continue straight as Main Street becomes E 1st Street. After approximately 0.5 miles, turn right onto KS-52 E. Stay on KS-52 E for about 10 miles. Then, take a left onto Pleasanton Road (County Road 1061). Continue for about 2 miles, and you will see the entrance to Marais Des Cygnes National Wildlife Refuge Unit F on your right. Note that parking is free at the refuge.

Be sure to wear a helmet and bring plenty of water, especially during the warmer months.
