If you're driving, Fort Larned National Historic Site is located at 1767 KS-156, Larned, KS 67550. From any major city in Southwest Kansas, such as Dodge City or Garden City, head east on US-50 towards Larned. Once you reach Larned, take the exit for KS-156 and head north. Follow KS-156 for about 5 miles, and you'll see the entrance to Fort Larned on your left. There is no admission fee, but check for any special event costs.
