If you're starting from downtown Topeka, head to the Topeka Metro transit center located at 820 SE Quincy St. From there, catch the Bus Route 6 heading towards the east. Make sure to check the schedule for the bus times. You will want to get off at the stop at SE 29th St and SE California Ave. Once you arrive at the bus stop, walk east along SE 29th St for about 0.5 miles until you reach Lake Shawnee at 3137 SE 29th St. The park will be on your left.
