    Getting There

    Walking

    If you are starting from downtown Wichita, head west on Douglas Avenue until you reach the intersection with Meridian Avenue. Turn left (south) on Meridian Avenue and continue walking until you reach W 1st Street. Turn right (west) on W 1st Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Stackman Drive. Turn left (south) onto Stackman Drive and walk for a short distance until you see the Historical Marker located at 600-614 W Stackman Dr, on your right.

    Public Transportation

    From the downtown area, you can take the Wichita Transit bus route 21, which runs towards the Riverside area. Board the bus at any downtown bus stop and ride until you reach the stop at Stackman Dr & 1st St. Once you get off the bus, walk a couple of blocks south on Stackman Drive. The Historical Marker will be located at 600-614 W Stackman Dr, which is just a short walk from the bus stop.

    Biking

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing program available in downtown Wichita. Start by heading west on Douglas Avenue and then south on Meridian Avenue. Continue to W 1st Street, where you will turn west. After a few blocks, turn left onto Stackman Drive. Biking along this route should take approximately 15-20 minutes, and you will find the Historical Marker at 600-614 W Stackman Dr.
