    If you are driving from Big Almaty Lake, head southeast on the main road towards Almaty. Follow the signs for Almaty city center. After approximately 30 kilometers, you will reach the outskirts of Almaty. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Abai Avenue (A2). Turn left onto Abai Avenue and proceed for about 3 kilometers. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Zhetysu Street. Continue for another 2 kilometers, and you will see the Square of Independence ahead. The Giant Oak is located within the square, easily accessible on foot.

    To get to the Giant Oak from Big Almaty Lake using public transport, first take a taxi or ride-share to the nearest major bus station in Almaty, which is the Almaty 2 Bus Station.
