From the Ile-Alatau National Park, head towards the main road leading out of the park. Use your GPS or a map application to navigate to Almaty. As you approach the city, follow signs for Bostandyk District. Once you enter Almaty, continue on Al-Farabi Avenue until you reach the intersection with Abay Avenue. Turn right onto Abay Avenue, and continue straight. Republic Square will be on your left near the center of the Bostandyk District.
