Once you reach Balkhash, follow the signs towards Lake Balkhash. The lake is located just a few kilometers south of the town center. Ensure you have a map application handy for navigation as some parts of the route may not be well-marked.
Public Transportation - Bus
Take a bus from Karaganda to Balkhash. Buses run regularly from the central bus station in Karaganda. The journey takes about 3.5 to 4 hours. Once you arrive in Balkhash, you can take a taxi or walk south towards Lake Balkhash, which is approximately 5 km from the bus station. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary.
Taxi
