Walking
If you are starting from Shymkent Central Park, exit the park and head south on Abay Avenue. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Al-Farabi Avenue. Turn right onto Al-Farabi Avenue and continue walking for approximately 500 meters. You will see the Independence Monument on your left, near the intersection with Aiteke Bi Street.

From the Shymkent Bus Station, take bus number 1 or 24 heading towards the city center. Get off at the 'Al-Farabi' stop. Once you disembark, walk straight for about 300 meters along Al-Farabi Avenue. The Independence Monument will be ahead on your left side.
