Continue on the A2 until you reach the town of Arys. From Arys, take the road to the east towards the village of Zhanakorgan. After reaching Zhanakorgan, follow the signs for the Zyngyrtas rock carvings, which are located approximately 30 km to the north of the village. The carvings are situated in a remote area, so ensure your vehicle is suitable for off-road travel. There are no formal parking facilities at the site, so be prepared to park along the side of the road and walk to the carvings.

To reach the Zyngyrtas rock carvings via public transportation, take a bus from Shymkent to the town of Arys. Buses depart regularly from the main bus station in Shymkent, costing approximately 1,500 KZT (Kazakhstani Tenge) for a one-way ticket. Once you arrive in Arys, you will need to find a local taxi or minibus heading towards Zhanakorgan. The fare for a taxi could range from 3,000 to 5,000 KZT depending on negotiation. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Zyngyrtas rock carvings, as they might not be familiar with the site. Once dropped off at Zhanakorgan, you'll need to walk the last segment to the carvings (approximately 30 km) or arrange for a local driver to take you closer to the site.
