    For those using public transportation, take a bus from Shymkent to Kyzylorda. Buses leave frequently from the main bus station. The journey takes about 4-5 hours and costs around 1,500 KZT. Once you arrive at Kyzylorda's bus station, you can either walk or take a local taxi to the Syr Darya River, which is about 2 kilometers from the bus station.
