If you're coming from the north, you can take I-75 South toward Lexington. If you're coming from the south, I-75 North will also take you toward Lexington. Once in Lexington, take the exit for I-64 East toward Winchester. Follow I-64 East for about 25 miles until you reach Winchester. Take exit 94 for US-60 East toward Winchester. Follow US-60 East for about 3 miles, then merge onto Bypass Road, which will lead you to the forest. The main visitor center is located at 1700 Bypass Road, Winchester, KY 40391.

From Lexington, you will need to use a combination of local buses or rideshare services like Uber or Lyft to reach Winchester, KY.
