If you are traveling by car, begin at the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area Visitor Center. Head east on US-27 S for approximately 12 miles until you reach the intersection with KY-90 W. Turn left onto KY-90 W and continue for about 3 miles until you reach Stearns. Look for the signs directing you to 66 Henderson St, where the Big South Fork Scenic Railway is located. The railway is situated on your left. Parking is available on-site.
