    If you're driving, the International Museum of the Horse is located at 4089 Iron Works Pkwy, Lexington, KY 40511. From the center of Lexington, take Newtown Pike north. Merge onto US-421 N/I-75 N and continue for about 5 miles. Take exit 113 for Iron Works Pike. Turn left onto Iron Works Parkway, and the museum will be on your right after about 0.5 miles. Parking is available on-site, and there is no additional cost for parking.

    To reach the International Museum of the Horse using public transportation, first check the Lextran bus schedule for Route 7, which services the area. Board the bus at your nearest stop and travel towards the 'Lexington Transit Center'. From there, you will need to transfer to Route 12, which heads toward the Kentucky Horse Park. Once on Route 12, ask the driver to let you know when you reach the Kentucky Horse Park stop, which is about a 15-minute ride.
