Car
From the center of Lexington, head northwest on Main St toward Broadway. Continue onto Leestown Rd. After approximately 3 miles, you will see Masterson Station Park on your right at 3051 Leestown Rd, Lexington, KY 40511. There is ample free parking available at the park.
Public Transportation
Take the Lextran bus route 12 from downtown Lexington. Board the bus at the Lextran Transit Center located at 200 West Main Street. The bus will take you along Leestown Rd. Get off at the stop nearest to Masterson Station Park, which is located just a short walk from the bus stop. The fare for a single ride is $1.00, and you can pay in cash or with a Lextran pass.
Walking
If you are staying nearby, you can walk to Masterson Station Park. From downtown Lexington, head northwest on Main St until you reach Leestown Rd. Turn left onto Leestown Rd and continue for about 3 miles. The park entrance will be on your right. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the walk is approximately 1 hour from the downtown area.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can ride your bike to Masterson Station Park. Follow the same route as for driving, and there are bike lanes available on Leestown Rd. The park has bike racks for parking. Be sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic laws.
