If you're traveling by car within Daniel Boone National Forest, start by heading to the Cumberland Falls State Park entrance located at 7351 Highway 90, Corbin, KY 40701. From the entrance, follow Highway 90 west for approximately 8 miles until you reach the intersection with KY-90. Turn left onto KY-90 and continue for about 4 miles until you see signs for Cumberland Falls. Follow the signs to Cumberland Falls, then continue to the parking area for the falls. From the parking area, you will need to walk approximately 0.5 miles to reach Cumberland Falls Beach, which is located near the riverbank beyond the falls.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you may need to take a bus to the nearest major city, which is Corbin, KY. Once in Corbin, you can use local taxi services or rideshare apps to get to Cumberland Falls State Park. Once you arrive at the park entrance, follow the same walking directions as mentioned above to access Cumberland Falls Beach. Walking
Once you have parked your car in the Cumberland Falls parking area, exit your vehicle and follow the clearly marked trail that leads towards Cumberland Falls. The path is well-maintained and will take you through beautiful scenery. After enjoying the falls, continue walking along the designated trails towards the riverbank to reach Cumberland Falls Beach. The walk is approximately 15 minutes from the parking area, depending on your pace.
