If you're in the heart of Fort Thomas, start by heading south on N Fort Thomas Ave. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with S Fort Thomas Ave. Turn left onto S Fort Thomas Ave. Walk until you reach the intersection with Memorial Parkway and turn right. Follow Memorial Parkway until it merges into the US-27 S (Alexandria Pike). Keep walking along the sidewalk, and you will eventually cross the bridge to Cincinnati. Once across the bridge, head towards W Mehring Way. The Ohio River Trail will be along this route.
Public Transport
If you prefer public transport, head to the nearest bus stop on N Fort Thomas Ave. Take the TANK bus route 11 towards Cincinnati. The bus will take you to the downtown area of Cincinnati. Once you arrive at the downtown stop, disembark and walk towards W Mehring Way. You can follow signs or use a map app on your phone to guide you to the Ohio River Trail located at W Mehring Way.
Biking
For a more active option, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Fort Thomas. Start by heading south on N Fort Thomas Ave, then take a left onto S Fort Thomas Ave. Continue biking until you reach Memorial Parkway. Follow the path along Memorial Parkway as it leads to the bridge into Cincinnati. Upon crossing the bridge, you will find bike paths that lead directly to W Mehring Way where the Ohio River Trail is located.
