Belvedere: A Scenic Oasis in Downtown Louisville

Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from the Louisville Waterfront Park, head east toward the Big Four Bridge. Cross the bridge and once you reach the other side, continue straight onto River Road. After about a 10-minute walk, you'll reach 6th Street. Turn left onto 6th Street and walk north for about 5 minutes until you reach Belvedere at 141 N 6th St.

• Public Transit (Bus)

  From the Louisville Mega Cavern, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the TARC bus route 18 toward the Downtown area. Ride for approximately 30 minutes (check the bus schedule for exact times) until you arrive at the 6th & Jefferson stop. From there, walk north on 6th Street for about 5 minutes to reach Belvedere at 141 N 6th St.

• Rideshare (Uber/Lyft)

  Open your rideshare app (Uber or Lyft) and enter '141 N 6th St, Louisville, KY 40202' as your destination. The driver will pick you up from your current location and take you directly to Belvedere. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.

• Biking

  If you’re starting from the NuLu area, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing stations. Head west on East Market Street, then turn left onto South 4th Street. Continue until you reach West Main Street and turn right. Finally, turn left onto 6th Street and ride north for about 10 minutes until you reach Belvedere at 141 N 6th St.

• Public Transit (Trolley)

  From the Kentucky Science Center, walk to the nearest trolley stop and board the Main Street Trolley. Ride for about 15 minutes. Get off at the 6th Street stop and walk one block north to reach Belvedere at 141 N 6th St.
