Walking
If you are in Downtown Louisville, the Kentucky Science Center is just a short walk away. From the central area, head west on W Main St. Walk past the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, which will be on your left. Continue walking for about 10-15 minutes, and you will see the Kentucky Science Center at 727 W Main St on your right. Make sure to look for the large signs indicating the entrance.

Public Transit - TARC Bus
You can take the TARC (Transit Authority of River City) bus for a quick and economical way to reach the Kentucky Science Center. Look for TARC Route 2, which runs through Downtown. Board the bus at any convenient stop in Downtown and travel towards the Main Street area. Get off at the stop closest to 7th St and Main St. From there, it’s a short walk west down Main St to reach the Science Center. A single ride costs $1.00.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations around Downtown. Simply find a nearby station, unlock a bike, and head west on Main St. It’s about a 10-minute ride to the Kentucky Science Center at 727 W Main St. Remember to return your bike to a station after your visit.
