Walking
If you are in Butchertown, start by heading west towards Main Street. Once you reach Main Street, turn south and continue walking until you reach the intersection with St. James Court. Turn left onto St. James Court. The Conrad-Caldwell House Museum is located at 1402 St James Ct, right at the end of the street on your left. This walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on your starting point in Butchertown.

If you prefer to use public transportation, locate the nearest TARC (Transit Authority of River City) bus stop. You can take the TARC Route 23 (St. Matthews) or Route 61 (Hurstbourne) from a stop in Butchertown. Make sure to check the TARC schedule online or at the stop for the next bus time. You will need to get off at the 'Bardstown Rd @ St. James Ct' stop. From there, walk west on St. James Court for about 5 minutes to reach the museum. Note that a one-way fare on TARC is $1.75, and you can also purchase a day pass for $3.50.
