If you are driving, start from the Mammoth Cave Visitor Center. Head west on Mammoth Cave Parkway (KY-70) for about 3 miles. Turn right onto Park Entrance Road and continue for approximately 1 mile. Follow the signs to the Sunset Point parking area, which will be on your right. The parking lot is free, and from there, it's a short walk to the viewpoint.
