If you are traveling by car within Aberdare National Park, head towards the main entrance of the park at Mutubio Gate. From there, follow the main road through the park, keeping an eye out for wildlife. Continue on the road for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the junction near the Njiru River. At the junction, take a left turn and drive for another 10 kilometers. You will see a signpost for the Forest Guard House. Continue along this road for about 2 kilometers until you arrive at the Forest Guard House located at coordinates GJ58+9VC, Ndunyu Njeru.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Nyeri town to the Aberdare National Park entrance at Mutubio Gate. From the gate, you may need to hire a local taxi or arrange for a guide to take you to the Forest Guard House. Arrange this in advance, as public transportation options are limited within the park. The cost for the matatu from Nyeri to Mutubio Gate is approximately 200 KES, and hiring a taxi to the Forest Guard House may cost around 2,000 KES depending on negotiation.
