If you're traveling by car within Baringo Basin, start on the main road leading to Lake Baringo. From the town of Kabarnet, take the Baringo-Kabarnet road towards the lake. Continue straight for approximately 20 kilometers. You will see signs for Soi Safari Lodge. Keep an eye out for the entrance on your right. The lodge is located at coordinates 0.6193919999999999 latitude and 36.0269999 longitude, so you can use a GPS device for precise navigation.
Public Transportation
For those opting for public transportation, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) from Kabarnet to Lake Baringo. The matatus leave from the main bus station in Kabarnet. Inform the driver of your destination, Soi Safari Lodge, as the route may not stop directly at the lodge. Get off at the nearest stop to the lodge and be prepared to walk approximately 2 kilometers along the lakeside to reach your destination. Alternatively, you can hire a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) from the matatu drop-off point to the lodge for a convenient ride.
