The falls are located about 4 kilometers from the town center. There is a parking area near the falls where you can leave your car and walk to the viewing point.
By Public Transportation

From Samburu National Reserve, you can take a matatu (shared minibus taxi) or bus to Nyahururu town. Once in Nyahururu town, you can take a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) or a taxi to Thompson Falls. The falls are located about 4 kilometers from the town center. There is a parking area near the falls where you can leave the boda boda or taxi and walk to the viewing point.
