Getting There

Car
If you are driving from the Elgeyo Escarpment, start on the Eldoret-Kapsabet Road (A104). Continue towards Kakamega, and then take the Kakamega-Kisumu Road (A1). Follow this road until you reach the junction for Isukha Central. Turn right and continue straight until you reach the entrance of Kakamega Forest. Note that parking may have a small fee, typically around KSh 100.

Public Transportation
To use public transport, take a matatu (shared taxi) from the nearest town in the Elgeyo Escarpment to Kakamega town. From Kakamega town, you can take a second matatu heading towards Kisumu and request to be dropped off at the junction for Isukha Central. From there, it is a short walk to the entrance of Kakamega Forest. The total fare for both matatus should be around KSh 150-250. Ensure to check the matatu schedules, as they may vary.

Bicycle
For the adventurous, renting a bicycle in Eldoret or Kakamega can be an exciting option. From Eldoret, cycle along the A104 road towards Kakamega, then switch to the A1 road towards Kisumu. Follow the same directions as for cars from the junction of Isukha Central. This is approximately a 70 km journey, so ensure you have sufficient water and snacks. The bike rental may cost around KSh 500 per day.
