    Car

    If you are traveling by car within the Great Rift Valley, head towards Mirera by following the main roads. From Nakuru, take the A104 road heading towards Naivasha. After approximately 30 kilometers, you will see signs for Mirera. Turn onto the road leading to Mirera and follow the signs for another 10 kilometers until you reach the Rift Valley viewpoint. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as there are limited fuel stations along this route.

    Public transportation (Matatu)

    To reach Rift Valley from Nakuru using public transport, you can board a Matatu (shared taxi) heading to Naivasha from the Nakuru Matatu station. The fare is generally around 100-150 Kenyan Shillings. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Mirera. The journey takes about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. Upon arrival at Mirera, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to the viewpoint, so wear comfortable shoes.

    Bicycle

    For the adventurous traveler, renting a bicycle in Nakuru is an option. You can find rental shops near the town center.
