After approximately 15 kilometers, look for signs directing you to the local roads leading to Kilimanbure. Turn onto the road that leads towards Kilimanbure, which is about 25 kilometers from the highway junction. Follow the signs and local directions, as Kilimanbure is a smaller peak and may not be marked on all maps.

  • Public Transport (Matatu)

    From Moshi, head to the Matatu (shared taxi) station located near the main bus terminal. Board a Matatu heading towards Arusha and inform the driver that you want to stop at the Kilimanbure turnoff. Cost for the ride will be approximately 1,000 TZS. Once you reach the turnoff, you may need to wait for a local motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) to take you the remaining distance to Kilimanbure, which should cost around 2,500 TZS.
