Getting There

Walking

Start from the Kisumu Central Business District (CBD) at Kenyatta Sports Ground. Head northwest towards the junction of Oginga Odinga Street and Jomo Kenyatta Highway. Continue straight onto Jomo Kenyatta Avenue, passing by various shops and local vendors. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Achieng Oneko Road. Walk for approximately 500 meters, and you will see Victoria Primary School on your right. Jamhuri Victoria Park is located just beside the school. The park entrance is visible from the road.
Bicycle

Begin your journey at the Kisumu CBD, near the Kisumu Museum. Cycle along the main road heading towards the lakefront. Once you reach the junction where Jomo Kenyatta Avenue meets Achieng Oneko Road, turn left. Continue cycling past the Provincial Offices Nyanca and keep an eye out for Victoria Primary School on your right. Jamhuri Victoria Park is located just beside the school, and there is a pathway leading to the entrance.
Public Transport (Matatu)

From Kisumu CBD, take a matatu heading towards Milimani. Get off at the Achieng Oneko Road stop, which should be near the junction with Ridoch Road. Once you alight, walk back along Achieng Oneko Road for about 200 meters. You will see Victoria Primary School on your left. Jamhuri Victoria Park is right next to the school. Follow the pathway to the park entrance.
