Walking
Start at the Kisumu Central Bus Station located in the heart of Kisumu city. From the station, head south on Oginga Odinga Street towards the Kisumu Museum. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the junction with the Kisumu-Kakamega Road. Turn left onto Kisumu-Kakamega Road and walk for another 500 meters until you reach the junction with the Kisumu Impala Sanctuary. Follow the signs towards the sanctuary entrance. Once inside, continue walking towards the lakefront area where Sundown Point is located.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near Kisumu Central Bus Station. Start your ride south on Oginga Odinga Street, passing the Kisumu Museum. After approximately 1 km, turn left onto Kisumu-Kakamega Road. Cycle for about 500 meters until you reach the Kisumu Impala Sanctuary entrance. Follow the designated bike paths leading towards the lakefront area. Sundown Point is located within this vicinity, where you can park your bicycle and enjoy the view.
