Walking
If you are in central Kitale, start at the Kitale Town Clock. Head south on Moi Avenue towards the junction with Uganda Road. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the junction of Uganda Road and Eldoret Road. Take the first exit on the roundabout onto Eldoret Road. Walk east along Eldoret Road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Kitale-Chips Road. Turn left onto Kitale-Chips Road and continue for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Kitale Golf Club, which will be on your right at the address 2232+GM6. The club is easily identifiable by its green surroundings and a welcoming entrance.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, start at the Kitale Town Clock and head south on Moi Avenue. Continue to the roundabout at the junction of Uganda Road and Eldoret Road. Here, take the first exit onto Eldoret Road. Cycle straight along Eldoret Road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Kitale-Chips Road. Turn left onto Kitale-Chips Road and ride for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see Kitale Golf Club on your right side at 2232+GM6. The ride is fairly flat and should take about 10-15 minutes.
Public Transport
To reach Kitale Golf Club via public transport, start from Kitale Town Clock and head to the nearest matatu (shared taxi) stop. Take a matatu heading towards the Eldoret route and inform the driver that you want to alight at the junction with Kitale-Chips Road. After about 10 minutes, get off the matatu and walk about 1.5 kilometers down Kitale-Chips Road. Look for the club entrance on your right at 2232+GM6. The matatu fare is quite affordable and you should expect to spend around 50-100 KES.
