If you are in Kitale town center, you can start at the Kitale Town Clock. Head southeast on Kitale Kakamega Road. Continue walking straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by various shops and local eateries along the way. Look out for signboards that indicate the direction towards Woodland Resort. After walking for about 20 minutes, you will notice Woodland Resort Kitale on your right, just before you reach the main entrance to the Kitale National Polytechnic.
Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
From Kitale Town, you can take a boda boda to Woodland Resort Kitale. Head to the motorcycle taxi stand located near the Kitale Town Clock. Inform the rider that you want to go to Woodland Resort Kitale on Kitale Kakamega Road. The ride should take approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. You will be dropped off right at the entrance of the resort.
Matatu (Shared Taxi)
To reach Woodland Resort Kitale via matatu, head to the matatu stage located near the Kitale Town Clock. Board a matatu heading towards Kakamega or any matatu that passes by Kitale Kakamega Road. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at Woodland Resort. The journey will take around 10-15 minutes, and you will be dropped off close to the resort entrance.
